MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
ON TUESDAY,DECEMBER 14, 2010
(2010 TAX LEVY)
Mayor Craig B. Johnson called the hearing to order at 6:50 p.m. in the Charles J. Zettek
Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
The following were present: Mayor Craig B. Johnson, Trustees Nancy J. Czarnik, Patton L.
Feichter, Jeffrey C. Franke, Samuel L. Lissner, James P. Petri and Chris Prochno. Also present
were Village Manager Raymond R. Rummel, Village Attorney George B. Knickerbocker and
Village Clerk Judith M. Keegan.
The Mayor called upon the Director of Finance, Christine Tromp. Ms. Tromp stated the public
hearing notice was published in the Daily Herald on December 3, 2010 in accordance with state
statutes and the truth in taxation law.
The total levy presented is $20,094,930 with an abatement ordinance of$409,047 for the Build
America Bonds, for a net levy of$19,685,883. The 2010 levy will be collected for fiscal year
2011-2012, which begins May 1.
Ms. Tromp noted the 2010 tax levy ordinance appears as item R. on the December 14, 2010
Consent Agenda for the Village Board's consideration.
Mayor Johnson asked if the Village Board or members of the audience had any questions or
comments. There were none.
Mayor Johnson adjourned the public hearing at 6:52 p.m.
A copy of the transcript of proceedings is on file in the Village Clerk's Office.
