Chairman Glass called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.
Item 1: 1800 Oakton — Rezone
Chairman Glass read the legal notice for the record and acknoti�lledged that the Public Hearing
notices were mailed to neighbors and properly published in the Daily Herald.
Chairman Glass noted that the petitioner did not post the property for the public hearing
before the Plan Commission as required by Village Code. Being that the property was not
properly posted; Chairman Glass continued the public hearing to January 12; 2011.
Chairman Glass stated that he chose January 12; 2011 as the next hearing date due to the first
Wednesday taking place just several days after the New Year's holiday. Noting that this was
on the second Wednesday of January, the Chairman stated that he would try in the future to
hold the meeting on the Plan Commission's regular first and third Wednesday of the month.
Commissioner Meyers asked if this was legal. Chairman Glass stated that the Plan
Commission is allowed to set their own time and place for a meeting as long as enough notice
is given. He also noted that they have done this in the past for various meetings.
Chairman Glass then asked to close the hearing and continue it to January 12; 2011.

Commissioner Ayers motioned to adjourn the meeting and Commissioner Thompson
seconded the motion. Upon voting (Ayers; Paliganof£ Sokolowski; Thompson, Meyers;
Glass, AYES; Geinosky; Hauser; Henrici; ABSENT) the motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:11 p.m.
