Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on February 10, 2009, this Executive
Session was called to consider a Liti ag tion matter.

Litigation
The Mayor updated the Village Board on an incident that occurred at the Attitude's Restaurant.
A fight broke out at the restaurant and approximately five (5)Police Officers responded. Upon
their investigation, the Police discovered several intoxicated patrons were underage. This is the
third incident at this restaurant within two (2) years. It was the consensus of the Village Board to
hire a law Firm to prosecute the business and the Village Attorney will sit as a Legal Adviser.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:27 p.m.

Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
On Monday, March 9, the night shift Police Commander drove past the Village Hall and noticed
the Mayor's office door was closed. Upon investigation, the Commander found the Mayor's
office ransacked and the furniture tipped over. The building was secured and searched for an
intruder.
The Police Department utilized video surveillance to identify the last known people in the
building. By mid-moming the Police Department solved the case. A janitor admitted to the
damage and made restitution for the damage while terminating employment.
