Land Disposition
The Mayor advised the Village Board that Mario Gullo does not want to purchase the temporary
Police Station at 321 Bond Street. Mario has right of first refusal. He noted that John Gullo has
expressed an interest. John's initial offers were rejected for being too low. In addition, the Park
District is looking to lease space on a temporary basis while they finish constructing their
maintenance garage. They have indicated that space is needed until January 2011 to take
possession.
John Gullo's latest offer was for $1.35 million, with $30,000 in earnest money. As part of that
offer,he would wait until January of 2011 to take possession. The consensus of the Village
Board was to lease the property to the Park District at cost and authorize the Village Attorney to
draft a purchase agreement with John Gullo for him to purchase the property for$1.35 million.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
