Approval of Minutes
Minutes for 3-20- 2018 – The minutes were approved.
Invoices for Approval
Invoice #6051 from Theodore Polygraph Services Inc. for 2 Polygraph exams dated 3/23/2018 in
the amount of $350
Invoice #6092 from Theodore Polygraph Services Inc. for 2 Polygraph exams dated 4/5/2018 in
the amount of $350
All invoices were approved.
Correspondence
Correspondence from the Chief of police regarding a suspension of an officer for a 1-day period.
Correspondence from the Chief of Police regarding the suspension of an officer for a 1-day
period.
Old Business
1. Update on the Police Department Vacancies – The Commission will hold Individual Oral
Interviews today in Executive session. There are three candidates who will be interviewed.
2. Background Reviews – The Commission reviewed the backgrounds of several police entry
candidates.
3. Police Promotions IOI Schedule - The Commission agreed to a date of June 7 for Individual
Oral Interviews.
New Business
1. Proposal to change the meeting time of the next Fire and Police Commission Meeting – The
Commissioners voted to change the meeting time of the next Fire and Police Commission
meeting. The meeting will be moved to Wednesday May 16th, 2018 at 2:00pm.
2. Discussion on the exhaustion of Police List – This item will be moved to the next meeting
after Individual Oral Interviews.
Eligibility List
1. Firefighter Eligibility List will expire on 09/15/2019.
2. Fire Lieutenant Eligibility list scheduled to expire on 02/27/2020.
3. Police Officer Eligibility list Expires 02/21/2019
4. Police Sergeant Eligibility list scheduled to expire on 07/07/2018.

Adjournment
Commissioner Scholten motioned to end the Meeting. Commissioner Kontek seconded the
motion. The Meeting was adjourned at 1:00 pm.
The Commission then went into Executive Session to conduct Individual Oral Interviews
