Business Development Guidebook
The Committee was advised by the Director of Business Development and Marketing, of Elk
Grove's Business Development Guidebook. The Guidebook provides information to perspective
businesses on the processes and procedures involved with opening a business in Elk Grove. The
Guide includes information on permit filing, Plan Commission procedures and various types of
financial assistance available. The Business Development Guide will be available on the interriet
and print form. The Committee recommended changing the Cook County sales tax rate to reflect
the changes that may occur in 2012. The Committee also recommended adding the Board of
Trustees contact information. It was the consensus of the Committee to approve the Business
Development Guide with the aforementioned changes.
