MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSIONERS
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
HELD ON AUGUST 6, 2011
Chairman Shapiro called the special meeting of the Fire& Police Commission to order at
12:00 p.m. in the Charles 1. Zettek Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, and
noted for the record that the following members and guests were present: Chairman Alan I.
Shapiro DDS, Secretary E. Butch Ehrke, Commissioner Michael P. Kontek, Deputy Fire Chief
Scott L. Miller, and Firefighter.
It was moved by Commissioner Ehrke and seconded Commissioner Kontek that the
Commission adjourn to Executive Session to discuss personnel matter. The motion was voted
upon by acclamation whereupon Chairman Shapiro declared the motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Discussion with Deputy Chief Miller regarding allegations made by resident against an Elk
Grove Village firefighter.
Discussion with Firefighter regarding allegations.
ADJOURNMENT
It was moved by Commissioner Ehrke and seconded Commissioner Kontek that the executive
session and special meeting be adjourned. The motion was voted upon by acclamation
whereupon Chairman Shapiro declared the motion carried. Meeting adjourned 12.22 p.m.
