MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF FHIE AND POLICE COMMISSIONERS
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
HELD ON APRIL 20, 2012
Chairman Shapiro called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m, in the Charles J. Zettek Building,
Gayle B. Bantner Fire & Police Commission Office, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove
Village, and noted for the record that the following members were present: Chairman Alan J.
Shapiro DDS, Secretary E. Butch Ehrke, and Commissioner Michael P. Kontek. Guests
present: PO Julian, PO Kleinfeldt, PO Schumacher,PO S. Garrison, PO Berens, PO Rohman,
PO Greenberg, D/C Nowacki.
BUSINESS
Chairman Shapiro thanked all of the Police Sergeant Candidates for attending the meeting.
He advised that the purpose for calling the meeting was to announce that a calculation error
had occurred when tallying the seniority points for the Police Sergeant Promotional Process.
He further advised that a revised Eligibility List would be posted as quickly as possible.
ADJOURNMENT
It was moved by Commissioner Ehrke and seconded Commissioner Kontek that the meeting
be adjourned. The motion was voted upon by acclamation whereupon Chairman Shapiro
declared the motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
