Accounts Payable Warrant: January 31, 2013 $ 1,641,054.35 February 12, 2013 $ 715,469.61 6. CONSENT AGENDA A) Consideration to award a professional service contract to Napleton Fleet Group of Westmont, IL in the amount not to exceed $22,056 to purchase a Dodge Charger police sedan from the Capital Replacement Fund. (The Ford Motor Company has discontinued producing the Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. (The Police Department is subsequently pursuing other alternatives for police vehicles. (The 2013 Dodge Charger police sedan is available through the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative Contract and is available from Napleton Fleet Group at a cost not to exceed $22,056. (Adequate funds are budgeted in the Fiscal Year 2013 Capital Replacement Fund. (A report from the Police Chief, recommending approval, is attached.) B) Consideration to award a professional service contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder Jetco, LTD of Lake Zurich, IL for the painting and repairs to the Reservoir 46 (1751 Greenleaf Avenue) and the West Elevated Tank (1141 Hawthorne Lane) in the amount of$492,000 from the Water & Sewer Fund. (On Thursday, January 16, 2013, the Village opened sealed bids for the painting and repairs to the Reservoir 46 (1751 Greenleaf Avenue) and the West Elevated Tank (1141 Hawthorne Lane). A total of eleven (11) contractors obtained bid documents, with eleven (11) submitting bids on all or parts of the project. (The lowest responsive and responsible bidder was received from Jetco, LTD, of Lake Zurich, IL in the amount of$492,000. (The project will include the exterior overcoat, wet interior repaint, dry interior partial repaint, and miscellaneous repairs to the West Elevated Tank (1141 Hawthorne Lane). (Adequate funds are available in the Water & Sewer Fund. (A report from the Director of Public Works, recommending approval, is attached.) C) Consideration of a request to hold a Public Hearing before the Plan Commission to consider the petition submitted by Diamond Truck & Trailer Inc. for a Special Use at 220 Seegers Avenue. (Diamond Truck & Trailer Inc. is seeking permission for a Special Use for truck repair. (A date for the Public Hearing has not been established.) D) Consideration of a request to hold a Public Hearing before the Plan Commission to consider the petition submitted by Star Motors Inc. for a Special Use at 2645 American Lane. (Star Motors Inc. is seeking permission for a Special Use for internet based automotive sales. (A date for the Public Hearing has not been established.) E) Consideration to adopt Resolution No. 4-13 (attached) approving an intergovernmental agreement between the Village of Elk Grove Village and Cook County for access to Geographic Information Systems (GIS). (The term of the data sharing Agreement will take effect as of March 1, 2013 and continue through February 28, 2014.) F) Consideration to adopt Resolution No. 5-13 (attached) authorizing the Mayor and the Village Clerk to execute an agreement between the Village of Elk Grove Village Fire Department and the Des Plaines Emergency Communications Center Public Safety Answering Point. (The City of Park Ridge and the City of Des Plaines recently began a municipal 9-1-1 and Police/Fire/EMS dispatch center. (The Illinois Commerce Commission requires municipal dispatching centers to file mutual aid agreements with neighboring jurisdictions to provide for how 9-1-1 calls received from those jurisdictions get appropriately transferred. (This agreement will allow Elk Grove Village, through Northwest Central Dispatch, to effectively handle and route 9-1-1 emergency calls to the appropriate designation with Des Plaines and Park Ridge.) 7.
