Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on September 27, 2016, this Executive Session was
called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

�%— Land Acquisition
The Board was advised that the Village owned Hansen Park, which is located along Rohwling Road. The
Village currently has an agreement in place with the Park District to allow them to use the park in exchange
for the Village's use of 16.7% of the Biesterfield Garage (which is the area of space that was paid for by the
Park District). The Mayor advised the Board that he would like to make permanent this arrangement by
giving Hansen Park to the Park District in exchange for outright ownership of the Biesterfield Garage. It
was the consensus of the Board to have staff work out the necessary arrangements with the Park District.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:23 p.m.
