Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on September 27, 2016, this Executive Session was
called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
The Mayor gave a brief overview of a proposed long-term capital projects program. Components
of the program would require the acquisition of several properties in order to potentially construct
a new Public Works Facility and new Fire Station 9. A potential location for the new Public Works
Facility may be a portion of the Busse Farm property. A potential location for a new Fire Station 9
has yet to be determined, as studies involving response times and the potential consolidation of
Station 9 with Station 8 will need to be undertaken. It was the consensus of the Board to have staff
start formalizing details related to the proposed long-term capital projects program.
