of the Village President and Board of Trustees on December 13, 2016, this Executive Session was
called to consider a Litigation matter.

The sales tax diversion case is being settled, with 75% of the settlement going to the RTA, who
took the lead on the suit, spending $4 million in legal fees. Local municipalities are splitting 15%
of the settlement, and Elk Grove Village will receive about $10,000.
