Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on August 18, 2009, this Executive
Session was called to consider a Litigation matter.

Litigation
The Village Manager updated the Board on a lawsuit that has been filed against the Village. A
veteran and Postal Worker was brought into the Police Station for a suspended license. He claims
he was held for five (5) hours, strip-searched; and his testicles were injured by a Police Officer.
Upon investigation, the Village Attorney stated that the complaint has numerous errors and is
being handled by outside counsel.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:37 p.m.
