OLD BUSINESS
a. No Old Business Discussed
NEW BUSINESS
a. FFIB members reviewed and discussed the feasibility of assisting the Fire Department in sending
more members to FDIC. The FD has reached their $20,000 allotment to send members who
responded to the posted training opportunity to attend FDIC. The board agreed that the only
assistance that we could provide at this time was to pay for class and registration cost only.
-The FFIB approved paying for all cost for class and registration up to a maximum of$5000.00
-The FFIB agreed that those members would have to agree that the cost would count towards
their `Life Time' limit.
- The FFIB agreed to have these cost taken directly from the FFIB tuition Reimbursement account,
bypassing the required 'Tuition Reimbursement forms.
- The FFIB requested that the FFIB will only 'reimburse' the Fire Department after the costs are
paid, and the member attends the class (so that the FFIB wouldn't lose out on a member who
didn't attend).
