2013.
The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m. by President Ambrose. Present were
Greenberg, Torres, Parrin and Tromp. Absent was Moody.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss and select a Financial Advisor from the three
candidates that responded to the Board's request for proposal for that position.
A committee for the Police Pension Board and the Fire Pension Board previously met
with the three candidates and listened to a presentation from each of them. Members of
the committee recommended Marquette Associates as being the most responsive, the
most responsible, with the most appropriate fees for services.
A motion was made by Torres, seconded by Parrin, to accept Marquette Associates
proposal to act as Financial Advisor for the Fund. A roll call vote was conducted:
Torres-Aye, Parrin-Aye, Greenberg-Aye, and Ambrose-Aye. Unanimous.
A motion was made by Torres, seconded by Parrin, to grant authorization to Tromp to
proceed with establishing a contract with and effecting the transition to Marquette
Associates as the Fund's Financial Advisor. Unanimous.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Parrin, seconded by Torres. Unanimous.
