Call to Order:
Mary Hale, president, called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m.
Special Note:
The Community Service Board was unable to conduct official business at this meeting, because a
quorum of members was not present.
Coordinator's Report: Given by Linda Blair
Two people will be recognized as Volunteer of the Year at the Village Awards Dinner on April
25, 2003. Helen Moisan is a volunteer at Alexian Brothers, the Senior Center and the Elk Grove
Village Health Department. William Shannon is a volunteer assisting Elk Grove Village residents
in many ways, including the PADS Walk, the Food Drive and Meals on Wheels. It was noted that
Bedilia Brandt is the correct spelling for the Elk Grove Village nominee for the 2003 Sheriffs
Medal of Honor Award. This name was misspelled in the February meeting minutes.
Announcement:
The next Community Service Board meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2003 in
Conference Room C in the Lower Level of the Municipal Building (Village Hall).
Adjournment:
The meeting was adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
