Coordinator`s Report: Given by Linda Blair
Linda Blair attended a meeting of the Elk Grove Parks Foundation. This organization can provide
scholarships for Elk Grove Village residents who are unable to participate in Park District
programs because they can't afford the cost. Linda has volunteered to assist the Foundation with
screening and qualifying residents for the Parks Foundation.

There was a general discussion of fundraising for the Community Service Board. The Community

to the funds included in the Elk Grove Village budget. Linda will review the idea of a Fundraising
Committee with the Village.

® Mike Tuozzo provided an update on the suggestion box idea. Community Service Board
members reviewed four possible suggestion box designs in plastic, metal and oak. Suggestion
Ipboxes will be located at the Library, Village Hall, Pavilion and the Senior Center. Linda will
confirm these arrangements with the Village before Mike purchases the suggestion boxes. Once
