MEETING MINUTES

Call to Order:
Jim Morrill, President, called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
Action Items:
The minutes from the March 18, 2004 meeting were approved after a motion by Peg Vallillo and
a second by Ryan Bookler.
® Coordinator's Report: Given by Linda Blair
The full report is included in the packet. Linda Blair calculates the assistance totals annually for
the Inter Faith Council. Tickets are available for the Prayer Breakfast on May 6 at Queen of the
Rosary. Linda Blair and Des Raftery will attend this event.
Committee Reports:
Suggestion Box: Given by Mike Tuozzo
Mike reviewed the comments on the suggestion cards collected in April. It was agreed that
whenever suggestion cards include an address or telephone number the resident will be contacted
to confirm receipt of their suggestion.
Community Spirit Committee: Given by Jim Morrill
There has been no meeting for the past six weeks. The committee schedules meetings when Spirit
Award nominations are received.
Volunteer of the Year: Given by Mary Paliganoff& Peg Vallillo
Committee members reviewed several nominations. The 2004 Volunteer of the Year is Nancy
Clarbour, Director of the Elk Grove Food Pantry at the Elk Grove Presbyterian Church.

Trustee Report: Given by Nancy Czarnik
Dates for the Farmer's Market are June 9 through September 29, every Wednesday from 7:00 am
to 1:00 pm. The Village Parade, Showcase the World, will be Saturday, June 19, beginning at
8:00 pm. The next meeting of the 50`h Anniversary Committee is September 27. The next Blood
Drive is April 24.
New Business:
Community Service Board officers for 2004/2005 are Jim Morrill, President; Mike Tuozzo, Vice
President and Ryan Bookler, Secretary. The new term of office begins on May 1,2004.
Announcement:
The next Community Service Board meeting will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2004 in
Conference Room C in the Lower Level of the Municipal Building (Village Hall).
Adjournment
A motion for adjournment was made by Mary Paliganoff and seconded by Peg Vallillo. The
meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
