Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on February 28, 2012, this Executive Session was
called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Board asked if Mary Pye would be made the permanent Director of Engineering and
Community Development or if she would remain as Acting Director. Currently, she lives outside
the Village and would need to move into Elk Grove in order to be made Director permanently.
The Village Manager's Office is working on a reorganization plan that will address this issue.
