Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 27, 2012, this Executive Session was
called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Board reviewed a memo regarding a proposed reorganization of the Public Works and
Community Development Departments. Part of the reorganization will improve customer service
and will involve quicker response times from inspectors and greater consistency with the use of a
single building inspector per project. The consensus of the Board was to approve this
reorganization as presented by moving Engineering Construction to Public Works.
The meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m.

Personnel
The consensus of the Board was to grant the Village Manager flexibility in filling the Human
Resource Generalist position. The Village is looking to hire an intern or temporary seasonal
employee over the summer until a full-time position can be hired.
