AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO DARS HOLDING
GROUP LTD TO OPERATE AN AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR CENTER IN AN I-2
INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICT ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 850 ELMHURST
ROAD IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a Public
Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a Special Use
Permit to DARS Holding Group LTD to operate an automotive repair facility in an I-2 Industrial
Zoning District as a Special Use on property located at 850 Elmhurst Road; and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after
considering the recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission find and believe it to be in
the best interest of the Village that said Special Use Permit be granted as requested, subject to the
conditions hereinafter set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the findings and recommendations of the Plan Commission dated
August 8, 2018 be and the same are hereby incorporated into this ordinance.
Section 2: That there is hereby granted a Special Use Permit to DARS Holding Group
LTD to operate an automotive repair center in an 1-2 Industrial Zoning District as a Special Use
on property located at 850 Elmhurst Road, Elk Grove Village, which Special Use Permit is
subject to the condition that the property owner shall restripe the existing parking lot to provide a
minimum of four (4) ADA parking stalls. The ADA parking stalls shall be sixteen (16') feet
wide with the eight (8) foot striped aisle to the passenger side of the vehicle. ADA signage,
including a $250 FINE sign, are required for each stall.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
