Chairman Czarnik called the meeting to order.
STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM – 2019
The Committee reviewed the proposed street maintenance program, which includes the
resurfacing of 9.0 miles of streets and the rehabilitation of curb, sidewalk and ADA
compliant curb ramps. The 2019 MFT program (4.5 Miles) has an estimated construction
cost of $1,491,105. The Village has also reserved $160,000 of MFT funds for roadway
patching and concrete work on various streets throughout the Village. The Business Park
program (2.0 Miles) which has an estimated construction cost of $827,948 will be funded
utilizing funds from the EGV 2025 and Business Leaders Forum accounts.
In addition, University Lane from Plum Grove Road to Vermont Drive and Lively Boulevard
from Devon Avenue to Landmeier Road will be resurfaced utilizing funds from the EGV
2025 and BLF accounts.
The Committee also discussed rejuvenation as a new part of the overall street maintenance
program. The streets to be rejuvenated in 2019 are the 1.8 miles of Business Park streets and
Elk Grove Boulevard/ John F. Kennedy Boulevard of which all were resurfaced last year.
The Committee approved the 2019 MFT Street Maintenance Program.
