Police Pension -Board Meeting held
October 19,•2004 at 901 Wellington,
Elk Grove Village, IL.

The meeting was called to order at .3:32 p.m. by President Ambrose. Present were
Greenberg, Gaspari, Garr, Krzywicki, Tromp, Actuary Timothy Sharpe, and Mary Tomanek
of Smith Barney.
he_minutes -of the last meeting, July 13, 2004 were read. Motion by Garr, seconded by
rzywicki, to approve the minutes. Unanimous.
Timothy Sharpe presented to the Board the Actuarial Valuation Report for Mayl, 2004 thru
April 30, 2005 of the Police Pension Fund. .
Tromp presented the Treasurer's Report which included balance sheet dated September 30, 2004
and :disbursement register. Motion made by Garr, seconded by Krzywicki, to accept
Treasurer's Report. Unanimous.
Old Business
Mary Tomanek °presented an updated report on the status of the Fund's investments.
Motion made by Garr, seconded by Gaspari, to move funds from Lord Abbett (Large Value)
to NFJ due to Lord 'Abbett exiting Illinois. local pension plans. -Unanimous.
New Business
The Board received a letter of resignation and ;request for a refund: of contributions
from Officer Scott Fessett. The Finance Dept will calculate the reund and it will be
presented at the next Board meeting.
The Board received the following bills:
$145.13 for atty Reimer're: August legal fees.
$750.00 for Dr. ''°Ronald Baron re: evaluation of Ofc Craig Celia
Motion made by Garr, seconded by Gaspari to pay these bills. Unanimous.
he Board received the medical report from Dr. Ronald Baron. regarding the annual
valuation of disabled member-Craig Celia. Dr.!, Baron"indicated that Celia continues
to remain disabled.
Ambrose announced the next Board meeting will be January 18, 2005 at_3:30 p.m. at
901 Wellington., Elk Grove Village, IL.
Motion to adjourn the meeting by Krzywicki, seconded by Garr. - Unanimous.
