Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on February 28, 2017, this Executive Session was
called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

�.. Land Acquisition
A developer is looking to build an apartment building on a vacant property on Perrie Drive, which
was dedicated as common open space for the neighboring multi -family complex. This property
was sold in a tax sale to a developer, who is claiming since the annexation agreement has expired,
the open space designation is no longer applicable. The site plan does not expire; and it is shown
as open space in the site plan. The Village is considering acquisition of this land to prevent this
problem recurring as it has in the past.
