Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 14, 2017, this Executive Session was called
to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

�" Land Acquisition
There have been delays on the proposed development on Busse Farm. The Township needs to
move in to the existing Public Works facility on Landmeier by the winter of 2018. As a result of
this short timeframe the Village may not be able to wait to acquire land from the Busse Farm
project for use as a future Public Works Facility. The Village requires 7-8 acres for the new
facility and staff is exploring alternative properties that may meet our needs. The consensus of the
Committee was to pursue a contract for the Berthold & TV repair facility land at a cost of
approximately $15 to $15.50 a square foot.
