Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 28, 2017, this Executive Session was
called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
The Park District Executive Director had informed the Village that if the price of the Chelmsford
property was brought down to $2 million, the Park District Board would be willing to move
forward with acquiring the property. The Mayor talked with the Park Board President last week
and was informed that it wasn't certain the Park Board would support the purchase of the land
for $2 million. The Park Board President indicated that they are awaiting information from their
appraiser and will not have a decision on their best offer until after April 13.
The consensus of the Board was that the Mayor should begin conversations with the Bulgarian
school, who is interested in the property.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:19 p.m.
