Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on April 11, 2017, this Executive Session was called
to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
The Mayor advised the Board that the Village has had initial discussions with First American
Bank seeking to purchase a portion of their property, located at Busse and Howard. Staff is
awaiting word back from the bank following their conversations.
With that being said, condemnation is still a possibility. It was the consensus of the Board to
allow staff to contract with condemnation attorney Bill Ryan and to hire an appraiser.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
