Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on April 25, 2017, this Executive Session was called
to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
The Illinois Tollway originally offered to purchase the Lake LGK parcel from the Village. The
Tollway has instead requested that the Village transfer the land to the Tollway free of charge. A
condition of the Village is that the Tollway permanently remediate the drainage/flooding issues
in the area so that Lake LGK provides the intended relief to the area.
The consensus of the Board was to approve the donation of Lake LGK to the Tollway on the
condition that the Tollway make the necessary improvements to the land to permanently
remediate the drainage issues in the area surrounding Lake LGK.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:54 p.m.
