Trustee Lissner moved to enter into executive session, Trustee Petri seconded the motion. Upon
voting, the motion carried unanimously.

Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on May 9, 2017, this Executive Session was called
to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
Village staff are working with the property owner of Berthold's on the deal to acquire their land
along Devon Avenue. Their attorney sent back proposed changes to contract language.
The Village is going to begin the involuntary annexation of the Berthold and TV repair shop
properties. With these properties, the majority of the Devon corridor will be incorporated into
the Village, not including the parcel along Salt Creek and the residential along Devon.
The Board also directed staff to start working on a plan for the continued cleaning up of the
Village borders.
