AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE PLAT OF SUBDIVISION IDENTIFIED AS FINAL
PLAT OF SUBDIVISION, HOME DEPOT — ELK GROVE VILLAGE RESUBDIVISION
NO. 1 AND GRANTING A VARIATION FROM THE PARKING PLAN PREVIOUSLY
APPROVED (600 MEACHAM ROAD)
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village at a Public Hearing,
duly called and held according to law, considered a petition to resubdivide the existing Home Depot
Shopping Center at 600 Meacham Road from one lot (1) to four lots (4) along with related variation
from the parking plan previously approved; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after
having considered the recommendation of said Plan Commission, find and believe it to be in the best
interest of the Village to grant approval of said plat of subdivision and the recommended conditions
and variations associated therewith;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Plat of Subdivision identified as the Home Depot - Elk Grove Village
Resubdivision No. 1, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, be and the same is
hereby approved, subject to the condition that CLK Properties bring all building designs, site plans,
parking plans, landscape plans and cross -access agreements for the two proposed new out -lots before
the Plan Commission for approval prior to any building permits are released.
Section 2: Prior to the issuance of the first building permit for either out -lot, the Petitioner
shall pay the Village $36,000 to contribute to the expense of installing the future bicycle/pedestrian
path.
Section 3: A variation of the parking plan previously approved for the property is hereby
granted to accommodate the new lots.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval according to law.
