HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 3592 - 2/26/2019 - Variation - 932 Victoria LaneORDINANCE NO.3592 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-7:1)(2) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE AS IT PERTAINS TO SIZE REQUIREMENTS FOR DETACHED ACCESSORY STRUCTURES TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A THIRTY FEET (30') BY TWENTY-FIVE FEET (25') DETACHED GARAGE TOTALING SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY (750) SQUARE FEET ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 932 VICTORIA LANE (BOHLMAN) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-7:1)(2) of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of a thirty feet (30') by twenty-five feet (25') detached garage totaling seven hundred and fifty (750) square feet on property located at 932 Victoria Lane, Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having reviewed the finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that sufficient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of the variation requested. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-7:1)(2) of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to the square foot area requirements of 600 square feet and the maximum size requirement of twenty-five feet (25') for detached accessory structures to permit the construction of a thirty feet (30') by twenty-five feet (25') detached garage totaling seven hundred and fifty (750) square feet on property located at 932 Victoria Lane, identified by property index number 08-33-209-003-0000, with the condition that the existing shed be removed prior to final approval of garage construction. Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES:6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 PASSED this 26th day of February 2019.
