FOREIGN FIRE INSURANCE BOARD
MEETING Minutes for January 7th, 2019
1. Call to order- 9:09am
2. Members is attendance: Chief Mikel, Evert, J. Denna, Pytlewicz, Rishling, R. Denna,
Gumprecht
3. Approval of the minutes
4. Correspondence/ Members to be heard: –
5. Officers’ reports
a. Chairman - J. Denna- No report
b. Vice-chairman – R. Denna- No report
c. Treasurer- C. Evert– unable to attain report this month
6. Committee reports
a. Standing – Education Committee:
i. Initial application submitted: Cunz, Denna Jr, Sullivan
ii. Course completion: Milburn, Cunz, Denna, Gac, Sullivan

8. New Business
A. FY 2019 Budget
a. Peloton indoor cycling bike – FF Denna obtained quotes and forwarding to
purchase.
b. EGVFD History book project- Lt Rishling work with FF Sigler to obtain a quote to
include hard copy books and a digital copy.
c. Decontamination Chambers for St 8/10- Moving forward with purchase through
Sauna Ray
d. EGV joint dept. drone program- Lt Rishling spoke with EG police for this
program, FF Schuldt helping with the process. .
e. US Digital station alerting upgrades- Scheduling with DC Harris to go to
Arlington St 3 to see what upgrades are available.
f. New Training tower upgrades- no info. Work in progress
g. Cooking equipment- Quotes obtained, awaiting purchase at Home Depot
h. Station Improvement fund – no info/submissions at this time
i. Ramen laser- money approved at Oct meeting to supplement Village purchase
j. Station kitchen tables- moving forward with purchase from Rustic American
Décor. Awaiting official quote to send to Village Board for purchase approval.
Design will be with EGVFD challenge coin on either side with station number in
middle with red resin river in middle of table. Plan is to have tables by May 1.
B. FY 2020 budget suggestions- Budget has been submitted for consideration
C. Elections
1. FF Evert, FF Denna, and Lt Rishling terms expire
2. Election sign up being set out to members with ballots and voting to follow

a. Next Meeting 2/8/19 at 9:30am changed from 2/4/19
