Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on January 8, 2013, this Executive Session was
called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Board was advised that two part-time Police Records Clerks also work part-time for
the Elk Grove Library, An IMRF audit recently uncovered that this dual employment requires
either the Village or the Library to pay IMRF benefits to these employees. The Library indicated
that they would not pay IMRF. The consensus of the Board is to not pay IMRF benefits and notify
the employees that they must choose to either work for the Village or the Library.
