Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on January 8. 2013, this Executive Session was
called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Board was advised that Park Board President Bill O'Malley, as a private business
person, was involved in numerous meetings with Village staff and consultants involving the gas
pipeline adjacent to the approved Higgins Road bike bridge. The Board was advised that the bike
bridge was extended from the roadway to avoid the gas pipeline located along Higgins Road.
The meeting adjourned at 6:48 p.m.
