Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on April 23, 2013, this Executive Session was
called to consider a Personnel matter.

Homeland Security
The consensus of the Village Board was to institute a sign-in sheet for individuals wishing to speak
to the Village Board during a meeting. The sign-in sheet will be placed outside the Council
Chambers and individuals will be asked to sign in before speaking. No time limit will be placed
on those wishing to speak. The consensus of the Village Board was to direct the Police
Department to review whether a sign-in sheet should be completed at the Coffee with the Mayor
and Board on May 4, 2013. The Village Board reviewed a draft sign-in sheet and directed staff to
remove lines 3 and 4.
