Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on June 18, 2013, this Executive Session was called
to consider a Litigation matter.

Litigation - Legal
The Village Board was advised of arrests that were made by the Police Department involving
thefts by volunteers at the RotaryFest. The individuals were arrested for skimming money out of
the booths. The Village Board was further advised that the Rotary Cub had an emergency meeting
to discuss the incident and ways to properly manage money in the future. The consensus of the
Village Board was to ensure that the Rotary Club meet with Police to establish safeguards for
preventing this from occurring again. The Village Board further agreed that the Rotary Club
should establish these procedures prior to February and before the Village Board approves any
funding to RotaryFest for the next fiscal year budget.
