AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-3-6-L OF THE VILLAGE CODE
PERTAINING TO HOURS OF OPERATION FOR CLASS MB MICROBREWERY
LIQUOR LICENSES
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 3-3-6-L of the Village Code is hereby amended by changing the
permitted hours of business on Sundays from 11:00 A.M. through 7:00 P.M. to 11:00 A.M.
through 11:00 P.M.
Section 2: That Section 3-3-6-L is further amended by adding temporary hours to
conduct business for private, pre -arranged events, which shall read as follows:
Private, pre -arranged events may be conducted on the premises between the hours of
11:00 A.M. through 10:00 P.M. on Monday through Saturday, and 11:00 A.M. through
11:00 P.M. on Sundays.
Section 3: The amendment adding hours for private, pre -arranged events shall initially
be deemed temporary in nature and shall expire on September 2, 2019, provided, however, that
the temporary designation may be rescinded by direction of the Liquor Commissioner. In that
event, the amended hours shall be permanent and in full effect.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
