HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 3608 - 4/23/2019 - Salary PlansORDINANCE NO.3608 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING VARIOUS SALARY PLANS, THE AUTHORIZED EMPLOYEE POSITION LIST AND THE SCHEMATIC OUTLINE OF ORGANIZATIONAL TITLES ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO SECTION 1-7-5 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, Section 1-7-5-A of the Village Code establishes the various pay plans for certain Village employees; and WHEREAS, Section 1-7-5-B of the Village Code depicts a schematic outline of the Village occupational titles and establishes an Authorized Position List of Village employees; and WHEREAS, Section 1-7-5-C, D, F and G set forth the pay plans for the various employee positions, including non -union merit pay plan and non -union general step pay plan, and also establishes pay plans for longevity and management enhancement; and WHEREAS, pursuant to budget hearings for the upcoming fiscal year commencing May 1, 2019, it is necessary to amend the various pay plans, the schematic outline of occupational titles and the authorized position list. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That the salary range for non -union merit pay plan positions and management enhancement plan for full time merit pay plan non -union employees be amended for the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2019 as set forth on Exhibit A, attached hereto. Section 2: That the non -union general step pay plan step rates and the longevity rates be amended for the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2019 as set forth on Exhibit B, attached hereto. Section 3: That the authorized position list of Village employees be amended for the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2019 as set forth on Exhibit C, attached hereto. Section 4: That the schematic outline of occupational titles of Village employees be amended for the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2019 as set forth on Exhibit D, attached hereto. Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect as of May 1, 2019 and upon its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES:6 NAYS:0 ABSENT:0 PASSED this 23rd day of April 2019.
