Approval of Minutes
Review of Minutes from October 16th, 2018. – The Minutes were approved.
Invoices for Approval
Invoice #111350 from Ottosen Britz Kelly Cooper dated 10/31/18 for professional legal services
in the amount of $135
Invoice706040 from Advocate Occupational Health dated 11/2/2018 for medical exams Police
Entry in the amount of $1654
Invoice #1031 from Eagle Eye Polygraph dated 11/17/2018 for polygraph examinations in the
amount of 1000
All invoices were approved.
Correspondence
A Memo from Chief Walsh regarding the resignation of a Police Officer
Old Business
1. Background Reviews – The commissioners reviewed several candidate backgrounds for
both police and fire.
2. Fire Department Vacancy - The commission will hire 2 firefighters.
3. Police Department Updates - None
New Business
1. Police Written Exam Results – There were 103 candidates who passed the Police Written
Exam. Candidates will be scheduled for Multiple Interview Evaluations the week of January
7th through 11th.
2. Presentation from John Kelly on Commission Regulations – John Kelly presented on ideas
for updating the commission’s Rules and Regulations. The commission voted to approve
having Ottman Britz Kelly Cooper law engage in a Regulation review and update.
3. Multiple Interview Assessment Schedule – Multiple Interviews will take place Janauary 7th
through the 11th.
4. FPC 2019 Calendar – The commission began the process of reviewing the upcoming
calendar for 2019.
Eligibility List
1. Firefighter Eligibility List will expire on 09/15/2019.
2. Fire Lieutenant Eligibility list scheduled to expire on 02/27/2020.
3. Police Officer Eligibility list Expires 02/21/2019
4. Police Sergeant Eligibility list scheduled to expire on 07/08/2021.
