Approval of Minutes
Review of Minutes from January 14th – The Minutes were approved.

Old Business
1. Background Reviews/Police List – The commission reviewed several backgrounds of police
candidates to approve for interview. The commission will have Individual Oral Interviews
on March 6 for the approved candidates.
2. Police Department Updates – The Police Department will plan on sending hired candidates
to the April 1st Academy using SLEA.
3. FPC Schedule Changes – The Fire and Police Commission regular meeting will be held on
Mondays going forward.
4. Fire Department Updates – The Fire department does not anticipate any openings.
New Business
1. Lory from Stanard and Associates will be in to discuss Police Process Scoring and
upcoming Fire Promotions 2:30 – Standard and Associates gave a recap of the Police
Process. Standard then presented various options the Fire and Police Commission could
consider in the future for Police Testing. The commission will discuss the future of Police
Testing on a different date.
2. Eligibility List
1. Firefighter Eligibility List will expire on 09/15/2019.
2. Fire Lieutenant Eligibility list scheduled to expire on 02/27/2020.
3. Police Officer Eligibility list Expires 02/21/2019
4. Police Sergeant Eligibility list scheduled to expire on 07/08/2021.
