KNICKERBOCKER Village Attorney Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on August 15, 2017, this Executive Session was called to consider a Land Acquisition and Disposition matter Number of pages attached: Date(s) of review for release Date of approval for release: 1 March 2018 Date approved by Village Board: September 12, 2017 August 15, 2017 6:47 p.m. The Board was advised that the Village is awaiting a conflict of interest waiver from the Little Bulgarian School's attorney, as they previously represented the Village on another matter. Once the Village receives the waiver back from the attorney, then the Village is anticipating a meeting with the Little Bulgarian School, Elk Grove Township and Elk Grove Park District. As previously discussed, the Little Bulgarian School will be purchasing the school building and parking areas for $1.4 million, and the Elk Grove Park District will be purchasing the playgrounds and athletic fields for $900,000. The Village anticipates that the Tollway will be finalizing their appraisals for the Township's property at I-90 and Arlington Heights Road sometime in September. Once the appraisal is completed, the Village will be able to swap properties (Elk Grove Public Works facility at 600 Landmeier and 711 Chelmsford) with the Township. It was the consensus of the Board to continue discussions and negotiations for this land acquisition and disposition. The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 p.m. 001
