KNICKERBOCKER Village Attorney Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on December 12, 2017, this Executive Session was called to consider review a Personnel matter. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s) of review for release: July 2018 Date of approval for release: Date approved by Village Board: January 9, 2018 December 12, 2017 6:31 p.m. The Finance Department has a Deputy Finance Director position vacant due to Sandy Smalley's retirement. The Finance Director would like to reorganize the department to create a growth opportunity for an employee who is not yet ready to take on the Deputy Finance Director position. The changes would include eliminating the Deputy Director position, adding a second Assistant Finance Director position, and reclassifying the Accounting Supervisor position to a Senior Accountant position. The Finance Director would like to start advertising to fill the Senior Accountant position. The consensus of the Board was to allow the Finance Director to advertise for the Senior Accountant position and to place a confirming item authorizing the position reclassifications on the January 9 Board Agenda. The meeting was adjourned at 6:33 p.m. M
