KNICKERBOCKER Village Attorney Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on December 12, 2017, this Executive Session was called to consider review a Litigation matter. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s) of review for release: July 2018 Date of approval for release: Date approved by Village Board: January 9, 2018 December 12, 2017 1►. 6:34 p.m. The Little Bulgarian School is not willing to allow the township daycare to continue on the Chelmsford property --they intend to operate their own daycare after March 31. The Park District has indicated that if they can purchase the entire property, they'd be willing to keep the daycare operational until at least 2019. The Park District purchase price would be $2 million for the entire property, whereas the purchase price is $2.3 million if the property is sold partly to the Park District and partly to the Bulgarian school. The Village Attorney indicated that the Village has not made any binding promises or written agreements with the Little Bulgarian School. The Board discussed that it sounds like the Bulgarian School would be heavily using the property and might disturb the neighbors. The consensus of the Board was to allow the Mayor to offer the Park District the land for $2 million, if they are willing to keep the daycare running until 2019. The meeting was adjourned at 6:53p.m. NO
