A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO
EXECUTE A COMPREHENSIVE TREE PLANTING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AND ST. AUBIN NURSERY AND
LANDSCAPING, INC.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois as follows:
Section l: That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to sign the attached document
marked:
COMPREHENSIVE TREE PLANTING AGREEMENT
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth and the Village
Clerk is authorized to attest said documents upon the signature of the Mayor.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.

Comprehensive Tree Planting Agreement
This agreement made and entered into this 81" day of October 2019 by and between the
Village of Elk Grove Village, an Illinois Municipal Corporation (Village) and St. Aubin Nursery
and Landscaping, Inc. (St. Aubins)
WITNESSETH:
Whereas, the Village and St. Aubins have previously entered into Agreements with
respect to the planting of trees which trees and the number therefor were set forth in the
Comprehensive Tree Harvesting Agreement between the parties; and
Whereas; the Parties have extended the harvesting agreement and it is necessary
therefor to extend the planting agreement as well.
Now, therefor, for good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby
acknowledged, it is hereby agreed by and between the parties as follows:
The cost of tree planting which includes the delivery of purchased trees and their
replanting in the Village shall be as follows:
YEAR COST TO REPLANT PER TREES
2021 $160.00
2022 $160.00
2023 $170.00
2. That the Village shall have the right to extend this agreement for an additional two years
at the 2023 price of $170.00 per tree.
In Witness Whereof, the parties hereto have caused this Agreement to be executed on the
date first above written.
