AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 0.25 ACRES OF PROPERTY
LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BIESTERFIELD ROAD
AND APPROXIMATELY 600 FT. EAST OF THE INTER-
SECTION OF BIESTERFIELD ROAD & BISNER ROAD TO
THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, property legally described as follows: That of i
Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 32, Township
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as
follows: Corunencing at a point on the North line of the Southwest u'':arLc:-
of the Northwest quarter of Section 32, 9.13 chains East of the 11orihwaei
corner of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 32;
thence South 1.67 chains; thence Bast 1.50 chains; thence North 1.67
chains; thence Best 1.50 chains to the place of beginnings,-, in Cool: Comfy;
Illinois, is within the unincorporated territory of Cool: County, and nog
within any municipality and is less than sixty (60) acres in area: and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is both contiguous and wholly
bounded by the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
I.MREAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois, and particilarly
Section 7-1-13 of Chapter 24 thereof (Illinois Revised Statutes 1963)
provides for the annexation of said territory upon the passage of an
ordinance by the Village; and
IIREREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Ell: Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, find and believe it
to be to the best interest of said Village that the aforedescribed land
and territory be annexed thereto;
NOI•I, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cool; and DuPage,
Illinois:
Section.l. That all land and territory legally described as follows,
to -wit:
That part of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
Section 32, Toimship li.l North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, described as follows: Commencing at
a point on the North line of the Southwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter of Section32, 9.13 chains East of the North-
west corner of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 32; thence South 1.67 chains; thence East
1.50 chains; thence North 1.67 chains; thence west 1.50
chains to the place of beginning, in Cool: Countv, Illinois,
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village am', i..
wholly bounded by the Village of Ell: Grove and is not presently in )ny
incorporated municipality but is in the unincorporated territory o rr_:
County and whereas said territory is less than sixty (60) acres in s:.ze,
be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village cc
that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary 1_nc:;
and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and Provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Ell: Grove
Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this
together with an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of
Deeds of Cool: County, Illinois.
Section 3• That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
