HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 3654 - 4/14/2020 - Rezoning, 20 & 25 Innovation Dr, I-1 to B-2ORDINANCE NO.3654 AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTIES FROM I-1 RESTRICTED INDUSTRIAL TO THE B-2 BUSINESS DISTRICT LOCATED AT 20 AND 25 INNOVATION DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a public hearing duly called and held October 16, 2017, considered the question of rezoning certain properties to I-1 Restricted Industrial with two lots located at 20 and 25 Innovation Drive to be rezoned to B-2 Business District; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees, after reviewing the findings and recommendations of the Plan Commission, find and believe it to be in the best interests of the Village that both properties be rezoned as requested for properties located at 20 and 25 Innovation Drive. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That the properties located at 20 and 25 Innovation Drive, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, which properties are legally described on Exhibit A, attached hereto, be and the same are hereby rezoned from the I-1 Restricted Industrial District to the B-2 Business District. Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to amend the zoning map of the Village to reflect the rezoning as set forth herein. Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 PASSED this 14th day of April 2020.
