HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 3664 - 6/16/2020 - SPECIAL USE_APPROVED PUD, CONSTRUCTION OF CLUBHOUSE/MAINTENANCE BLDG, FOX RUN GOLF LINKSORDINANCE NO.3664 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO MODIFY A SITE PLAN PREVIOUSLY APPROVED UNDER A PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND A VARIATION OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO REDUCE THE REQUIRED FRONT YARD SETBACK TO ELK GROVE PARK DISTRICT TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW CLUBHOUSE AND MAINTENANCE BUILDINGS ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 333 PLUM GROVE ROAD (FOX RUN GOLF LINKS) WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a public meeting, duly called and held according to law, considered a petition submitted by the Elk Grove Park District to grant a Special Use Permit to modify a site plan previously approved under a Planned Unit Development and a variation of Section 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance for the purpose of reconstructing the clubhouse and maintenance buildings at the Fox Run Golf Links for property located at 333 Plum Grove Road; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendations and finding of the Plan Commission, find and believe that it is in the best interest of the Village to grant a Special Use Permit as requested and that sufficient hardship exists to justify the granting of the requested variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a Special Use Permit to modify a site plan previously approved under a Planned Unit Development to Elk Grove Park District for the construction of new clubhouse and maintenance buildings for property located at 333 Plum Grove Road, Elk Grove Village, subject to the following condition: 1. The boundary landscaping that is not being provided along Plum Grove Road (3 trees and 39 shrubs) be incorporated into the landscape plan elsewhere on the property. Section 2: That there is hereby granted a variation of Section 7-1 of the Zoning Ordinance as it relates to minimum front yard setback from twenty-five (25') feet to permit a setback of ten (10') feet. Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 0 PASSED this 1611 day of June 2020.
