HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 2518 - 11/12/1996 - ZONING VARIATION/240 PLEASANT DRORDINANCE NO. 2518 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 3-6:D.4 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO THE LOCATION OF SWIMMING POOLS IN REQUIRED SIDEYARDS ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 240 PLEASANT DRIVE, ELK GROVE VILLAGE (EHRKE) WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly called and held con- sidered the question of granting a variation of Section 3-6:D.4 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the location of a swimming pool located 1.5 feet into the required sideyard on property located at 240 Pleasant Drive and legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village, after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe that suffi- cient hardship exists so as to justify the granting of said variation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 3-6:D.4 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the location of a swimming pool which would encroach approximately 1.5 feet into the required sideyard on property located at 240 Pleasant Drive, Elk Grove Village, Illinois and le- gally described as follows: Lot 2952 in Elk Grove Village Section 9, being a Subdivision in Section 33, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof recorded July 1, 1960 as Document No. 17897670, in Cook County, Illinois Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
