AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 4-3-1:A
RESIDENTIAL PARKING SPACES (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS) OF THE
ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT A REDUCTION IN THE NUMBER OF
REQUIRED PARKING SPACES FOR VILLAGE ON THE LAKE
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk
Grove Village at a public hearing duly called and held according
to law considered the question of granting a variation of Section
4-3-1:A of the Zoning Ordinance as it pertains to minimum parking
space requirements in a residential zoned district to permit the
reduction in the number of parking spaces required at the Village
On The Lake Development so that said number shall be 741 spaces;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village after having considered the finding and re-
commendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe that
741 spaces are adequate for the Village On The Lake Development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation of Section 4-
3-1:A of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village to permit 741 parking
spaces, a reduction of 143 spaces from the original number of spaces
approved to the Village On The Lake Homeowners' Association on be-
half of the Village On The Lake Development.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
