FOOD -RELATED BUSINESSES OF TITLE 3, BUSINESS AND
LICENSE REGULATIONS OF THE VILLAGE CODE (SALE OF FOOD &
BEVERAGES ON PUBLIC R -O -W)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, State of Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That Section 3-5I-1-4: Requirements and Restrictions
of the Village Code be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto
the following:
F. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation to use any street, sidewalk or public
right-of-way for the purpose of selling food or
beverages thereon in any zoning district other than
residential (B-1, B-2 or B-3 Business District;
I-1 or I-2 Industrial District; 0-T Office -Transition
District or O -P, Office Park Conditional Use District).
Section 2: Any persons violating any of the provisions of this
Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than twenty fire
dollars ($25.00) nor more than five hundred ($500.00) for each offense
and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or
on which a violation occurs or continues.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to
publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
